How I became into a UXUI Designer

Ima de perfil.png

It was a long and funny story at the very first  beginning I started beign a Social Media Designer, I had 10 years in that field and I felt safe, I didn't try anything new and didn't finding a new challenge but at the same time I was struggilg myself cause I was realizing I was doing the same thing for 10 years and I was hating it, I reach a point of no return that I thoungt: "I just want to quick, this is no my thing", and at some point I saw this new UXUI thing so far from me, It wasn't until the BIG SHOT came out and I thoungt "This is now or never", so I'm gonna take the change and this is how it started.

The great challenge

There's a BIG matter to get focus before anything else: THE USER/CLIENT and how from this will emerge a whole line of research and work to develop a product, thinking of solving an existing problem. There's the firsts steps to take: 1. Understand the problem, 2. Get in the context, 3. Know my user, 4. Figure out how this is goint to help the business.

Searching is the very first step to get into it a background brief will help to my team how to get into it, also it must have an insight brief, a mission, a value proposition, and last but not least goals and deadlines.

The whole researching must be made up in two parts:

1. Focused on similar products

2. Focused on the design

But rethinking better and if the two previous points are better analyzed this could turn into 8 steps to start a project

1. The Problem

2. The User

3. The Context

4. How this is gonna help

5. Perfrom wireframes or not

6. Explore, research and learn

7. Make design desitions and

8. Get a whole documentation from this

Once you complete these steps next it could be called the Designing Process
